Moving Forward in Uncertain Times
Thank you for trusting me with the responsibility and the honor of serving as president of the Mississippi Association for Institutional Research.
This has certainly been quite the year. I couldn’t be any prouder of my fellow MAIR members and officers. While I was vice-president, we moved our 2020 conference from physical to virtual with only two weeks’ notice, and had a great conference.
As the year continues, we face even more uncertainty, but once again, we will find our way through it. We’ve planned the dates for the 2021 conference, and the location, if we’re able to have it in person (March 25 & 26, 2021, in Tupelo). But we’re also making plans to present it virtually, if the need arises.
We’re planning to continue to offer webinars for the benefit of our members. If there is anything I MAIR can do to help during this time, please let us know.
The world has changed, and is still changing, but we adapt with it.
